Part 1- June 10th- the actual birthday:
The actual birthday is usually a small celebration. Mike and I took Jack and Lucy to the Museum. There was a special show in the planetarium that we thought he would like.
Jack helped uncover fossils |
Jack had a great time at the water table. |
Jack got to pick out one gift in the gift shop and he picked something that he named “the windmill”. He fell asleep on the way home with his gift in his arms.
When we got home Jack helped to make his cake. He had picked out what kind of cake. In the grocery store I had asked him, “Do you want chocolate, strawberry, or vanilla icing?” He said, “Yes.”
Next we headed to the Kelly’s house for dinner and cake.
Part 2- Family birthday at Nana & Grandaddy’s house:
All the grandparents and some other people we love came to Nana’s to celebrate with Jack. He was so excited when he arrived to find all things Toy Story! Jack and Emma played in the play room, swam in the pool, and “hung out”. Jack couldn’t resist… he had to poke his fingers in the icing… about 13 times. This was a day full of joy and excitement. Especially when Jack got his big gift!
Lucy found ways to entertain herself. |
The bike is a big hit... He looks like such a big boy!!!!
Part 3: Party at our house! We invited some of Jack’s friends (and some of Mommy & Daddy’s friends, too) for a water party. Jack has always loved water so we thought it would be fun for the kids to get together and have some wet fun.
We are so thankful the Schmutz family lent us the water slide for the party. Jack LOVES this water slide. |
This party took place on Poppie's bithday so we had 2 cakes for 2 birthday boys. |
Unfortunately, Tropical storm, Debby interrupted our fun. Due to lightning we had to leave our outdoor fun and bring the party inside. The kids had a great time pulling out EVERY toy in the house.
Three birthday celebrations for our 3-year-old were fun. Jack has been full of JOY this month. We continue to be thankful for our little man.
What a great month of memories for the Davis' family! Happy Birthday, Jack! So hard to believe you are already 1,2,3!!! Love, Mrs. K
