The Darling Davises: Back-blogging: January

January was a busy month for us. My sister and her family came across the country for a visit. While there were here we had Lucy baptized and took a Hudnut/Davis trip to Disney World.

Sparky (Mimi & Poppie’s dog) got some attention from the girls. Lilana has some much needed cousin time with Lucy. And everyone fought over who got to sit in Poppie’s lap.

Cousin time!! Mimi’s tub is a popular place. Jack and Julia are two peas in a pod.
Lucy’s Baptism

Many of Lucy’s fans came to see her get baptized. Pictured above are Big brother Jack, Best friend Emma, Cousin Liliana, Mimi, Nana, Granddaddy, Aunt Jennifer, Aunt Jenny, Cousin Nolan, Uncle Josh, “Uncle” Mike, “Aunt” Amy, and “Aunt” Stephanie, Aunt Charity and of course, Daddy.

Lucy wore the same gown Emma was baptized in. It was hand-stitched by Emma’s great grandmother.

After church we went back to the Goodman house for lunch, pictures, and forced family fun.

Disney World
We had so much fun going to Disney World with the Hudnuts. We stayed in a two bedroom condo right around the corner from the part. The cousins had so much fun together at the condo, and of course at the Magic Kingdom. Jack still talks about the rides he went on, seeing the “Beatiful Sandcastle”, and the characters he saw in the parades. Here are some snapshots from our day in Disney.
