Our visit to South Carolina (continued)

After our stop at the Helfer's we continued to Grandma's house. Grandma had not see Lucy since she was three weeks old so a lot had changed. Jack loves going to Gaffney because the pwaygwound is walking distance away and the church nursery has a train table. What more could a 2-year-old boy ask for? Last time we went to the park by Grandma's Jack was afaid to go down the big slides. This time he acted like an old pro.

Lucy had a good time at the park time.  She tried the swings for the first time and laughed out loud.

Back at Grandma's Lucy spent a lot of time in the Johnny Jump up.  When she starts to feel ignored she might get a little cranky, but big brother says "I have to go check on Wucy!"  He will always make her smile.
Lucy is at my favorite age.  She can sit up and entertain herself for longer periods of time, but she can't go anywhere.  She spent a lot of time rolling around Grandma's floor, happy as can be.  My favorite thing is she would sit in Grandma's lap and share big grins with her.  I am so blessed my kids get to know their GREAT grandma!

  1. I adore your family picture on your blog page! I also enjoyed seeing your other family pictures with your extended family members. Leah, you were meant to be a "mom", and your children are precious. You all look so happy together!

    Love,
